The archival-node gate is present and working: Discover.vue installBlockedReason() checks the bitcoin pruning state (via /bitcoin-status) and blocks install of electrumx/electrs/mempool-electrs with "You need a full archival bitcoin node before downloading ElectrumX". Verified in v1.7.98-alpha. Closing.
