I like having wireguard in there but I find I'm still usiing tailscale to create a cluster of systems. I would like to be using nostr-vpn or something else where I don't have to log into github.

Could we have apps that are system plugins? Kind of like core or knots can run the bitcoin system, tailscale, nostr-vpn, wireguard and the bird one could be installable apps that function as system plugins.

Closing as the original VPN requirement is now largely addressed by the NetBird integration. A broader Nostr-VPN or system-plugin architecture would be separate roadmap/design work and should be tracked in a newly scoped issue if we decide to pursue it.

I'm getting netbird implemented, seems to be by far the best, won't be long
