    Archipelago 1.8.22-alpha

App lifecycle and readiness fixes, persistent Gitea/Portainer and Nginx Proxy Manager repairs, kiosk improvements, and Angor services.

    • Installed apps stay visible through restarts and refreshes. Launch readiness checks the correct web interface; Bitcoin's dashboard remains available during initial sync.
    • Fixed Nginx Proxy Manager admin-port selection and bind-address health checks. Recognized legacy tunnel/LND port conflicts receive a backed-up migration.
    • Network diagnostic failures no longer stop all apps or reset shared container networking. Missing companion dashboards are recovered only by their owning service.
    • Persistent Gitea/Portainer connectivity repair preserves application state and supports fresh installation and upgrades.
    • Readable Bitcoin version and pruning choices in the kiosk; compact named readiness messages, aligned card buttons, and one Mempool card.
    • Restored GitWorkshop build files and companion image sources. Runtime files finish promotion before app manifests are loaded.
    • Paid-file delivery and repeat-download improvements, including live Tor-only purchase, change, rejection refund and file-content verification.
    • Added headless Angor Indexer using Mempool/ElectrumX, with a separate optional relay. A full, unpruned Bitcoin node and completed downstream indexing are required for full availability.
    • Retains prior Cashu, Lightning startup/balance, explorer, pruning, graceful shutdown and transparent AIUI fixes.

    Validation

1,617 backend tests and 1,133 frontend tests passed; four backend tests requiring optional external services or hardware were excluded. Container, migration, installer-overlay, app build-context and release checks passed. Live acceptance covered the development box and ThinkPad X250, including the actual Chromium kiosk and Portainer's network namespace. Bitcoin/LND and the existing production site were preserved during final management updates.

The raw ISO passed payload comparison and a complete offline UEFI installation and installed-system cold boot in QEMU/KVM, reaching the first-run setup screen.

Full-chain Angor indexing is still awaiting the development node's initial Bitcoin synchronization. No claim of completed chain indexing or testing on every hardware configuration is made.
